"Nobody can bully me" BNXN says as he tackles Davido and his fans

Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has thrown a jab at his colleague Davido while responding to criticisms from his fans.

BNXN, formerly called Buju, has been at the top of the trending table as he shows how loyal he is to Burna Boy, who has recently been beefing Davido.

Today, March 7, an X user who is a fan of Davido said that BNXN is a "mid" singer in the Nigerian music industry.

The Davido fan wrote; "He (BNXN) is a mid abeg."

BNXN replied, throwing shade at the follower's fave (Davido).

BNXN wrote; "You be retard. Knowing your fave. You know suppose dey speak on anything regarding music. Fem!"

Subsequently, Davido deleted a tweet he made about BNXN a year ago where he disclosed that they both made a classic song together.

X users told BNXN that his song with Davido will no longer see the light of day.

“It was God that told me to go to the beach naked to campaign for Tinubu. I do not regret campaigning for him” - Actor Olaiya Igwe

?It was God that told me to go to the beach naked to campaign for Tinubu. I do not regret campaigning for him? - Actor Olaiya Igwe

Actor, Olaiya Igwe has stated that he doesn't regret campaigning for President Bola Tinubu and that if he had another opportunity, he would still do it again.

Recall that weeks before the presidential election, Olaiya went to the beach naked to offer prayers for Tinubu to succeed in the election. He suffered serious backlash as many felt his action was unbefitting of an actor who is well respected in his industry.

On February 5 this year, he released a video apologising to people offended by his action. The actor and producer explained that he did it because Tinubu was there for him when he was ill, and afterwards he got a revelation to go naked at the beach to pray for him. Read here.

In the fresh interview, Olaiya said he doesn't regret his action in campaigning for Tinubu.

‘’Some people claim my apologising for going to the beach meant that I regret campaigning for Tinubu. I do not regret campaigning for Tinubu. If I have another opportunity to do things that I can to make Tinubu win the election again so that this country will become better, I will do it. I do not regret it at all''

Six docked for allegedly assaulting actress Lizzy Anjorin at Lagos market

Six docked for allegedly assaulting actress Lizzy Anjorin at Lagos market

The police in Lagos state today February 8, arraigned six suspects before the Tinubu Chief Magistrates’ Court, for allegedly attacking, assaulting and blackmailing Nollywood actress, Lizzy Anjorin-Lawal at Oba Akintoye Market, Lagos Island, Lagos State on Monday, February 5.

The actress was harassed at the market after she was accused of purchasing items using a fake bank alert.  Read here.

The suspects, made up of four women and two men, were accused of allegedly attacking, assaulting and blackmailing the popular Nollywood actress, Lizzy Anjorin-Lawal.

The police charged Qudus Jokogbola, Siri Olawale, Edu Shakirat, Fausat Mohammed, Kafayat Ahmed and Opere Morenike with conspiracy, breach of peace and causing bodily harm. The Prosecutor, Insp Samuel Isholla told the court that the six defendants and two others at large, committed the alleged offence on Feb. 5, 2024, at about 1.30p.m, at Oba Akintoye Market, Lagos Island, Lagos State.

Counsel to the defendants S. Ade Oshodi and Ademola Olabiyi, announced their appearance for the defendants and nominal complainant’s lawyer respectively.

Prosecutor Isholla informed the court that the defendants and two others at large, conspired among themselves and forcefully pushed and dragged the complainant Anjorin-Lawal, causing her bodily injuries. The prosecutor also told the court that the defendants’ actions caused a breach of public peace. He told the court that the offence committed by the defendants contravened sections 168(d), 170(b) 411 and 413(2) of the criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.

Section 413(2) stipulates a two-year jail term for anyone found guilty of causing injury to a person or reputation of any person, or to depreciate the value of any person or property.

The defendants, however pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Following their not guilty plea, their lawyer, Oshodi, who led other six lawyers, informed the court that all his clients were market men and women. He therefore urged the court to admit them to bail in the most liberal terms.

Responding to the lawyer’s request, the prosecutor told the court that granting of bail is at court’s discretion but said that the court should admit them to bail in terms and conditions that will ensure their attendance in court.

While delivering his ruling, Magistrate A.A Paul admitted each of the defendants to bail in the sum of N200, 000, with one surety in like sum. The magistrate also ordered the sureties must be residents of Lagos State with evidence of tax payment to the Lagos State government, among others. The magistrate also directed that the defendants should be remanded in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS), until they perfect their bail terms.

The case was been adjourned until March 11, for mention.

"I have no money" Wendy Williams breaks down in new documentary trailer

"I have no money" Wendy Williams breaks down in new documentary trailer

Former TV talk show host, Wendy Williams broke down in tears in the emotional trailer for Lifetime's documentary, "Where Is Wendy Williams?"

Lifetime released a poignant trailer for the two-part documentary, offering a glimpse into Wendy's life. The trailer unveils the challenges Wendy faces, from health concerns to financial worries.

The documentary delves into Wendy's journey, exploring how health troubles stripped away her larger-than-life persona.

It highlights Wendy's court-ordered guardianship, sparking questions from her family. Her sister questions why she isn't deemed suitable to care for Wendy, while her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., expresses worries that she might be taken advantage of. The entire guardianship system comes under scrutiny.

Various shots in the trailer hint at the seriousness of Wendy's health issues. Concerns about her weight and cognitive awareness are presented.

In a particularly heartbreaking moment, Wendy confesses, "I have no money."

The trailer captures her worries about money and her uncertain future, laying bare the financial challenges she grapples with.

Wendy's son, Kevin Hunter Jr. also spoke in the trailer, saying: "She's done a really good job at making it seem like everything's okay, but in reality, there's something wrong going on."

The trailer reflects on Wendy's departure from her talk show amid battles with addiction and Graves' disease.

Despite her struggles, Wendy expresses her desire to return to television and revive her career. Her son, however, feels she has worked enough.

"Where Is Wendy Williams?" is set for a two-part release on Lifetime on February 24 and 25.
